Description
Located on the north end of Jekyll Island, Georgia, Driftwood Beach is covered with beautiful driftwood trees that resemble sculptures resting or protruding from the sand. This phenomenon is due to the north end of the island slowly eroding away and being deposited on the south end of the island. A great spot to sit and reflect while watching the offshore shrimp trawlers, bald eagles and brown pelicans.

Lovely palette, and great perspective in this beautiful landscape. I love these boneyard beaches of the East Coast! v and tw
